Rationalization

Creation as a primal force. The energy potential to manifest inspiration without limitation.

Identification And Focus With The Rational Thought Process.

Gate 24, known as The Return and the Gate of Rationalization, is a mental processing hub located in the Ajna Center within the Individual (Knowing) Circuit. Its mechanical function is to return to the raw inspiration provided by the Head Center and process it until it takes a rationalized, communicable form. For an individual seeking a solid foundation, it is critical to understand that this gate represents a cyclical return (over-and-over), acoustic thinking process that cannot be forced or hurried.

The 24th gate is about the individual mind’s acoustic process, where it resonates between past and future, reflecting and projecting. Unlike the existential now, it doesn’t stay in the present but moves through waves of awareness. This gate deals with knowing what can be known, distinguishing between useful knowledge and what’s unknowable. The individual mind seeks silence by resolving whether something is worth knowing or struggling for. It’s the process of continual reflection, returning to unresolved thoughts until clarity is found. The 24th gate embodies transformation through the pulse of awareness.

Mechanical interpretation

  • The Thinking Pulse: Gate 24 operates in a pulse; one moment the knowing is not there, and the next moment it is. It does not relate to the past through reflection like abstract circuitry, nor does it project into the future like logic; it exists in a relative present, looping through inspiration until mutation occurs.
  •
  • The Channel of Awareness (61-24): It functions as the resolution for the mental pressure of Gate 61 (Inner Truth). Without the definition of this channel, the mental activity of Gate 24 continues to cycle without a guarantee of resolution or “satori”.
  •
  • The Acoustic Mind: Unlike the visual Collective mind, the Individual mind is acoustic. Gate 24 processes “inner sound” or internal “static,” seeking a state of mental silence.
  •
  • Biological Correlation: Biologically, this gate is associated with the neocortex and chemically linked to the anterior and posterior pituitary glands, which serve as the master control glands for the entire physical vehicle.
