The 31st gate represents leadership and influence, particularly through the transfer of energy and ideas. It highlights the need for a leader to effectively communicate and pass on their vision or qualities to others in order to lead. This process is essential in any leadership role, especially in democratic settings, where the leader must be elected or selected. Leadership is only effective if the transference of ideas and energy is valuable, as this determines the success or failure of the leader’s influence.

The Quarter of Civilization is the second quadrant of the Mandala, historically and mystically referred to as “Womb to Room.” Mechanically, its central theme is purpose fulfilled through Form.
